Part-Time Project Manager – Volunteer Program
Are you passionate about community, creativity, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done? The Downtown Anacortes Alliance is hiring a Project Manager – Volunteer Corps to lead our thriving volunteer programs and bring energy to our downtown events and beautification efforts.
This flexible, part-time role (approx. 20 hrs/week) is perfect for someone who loves planning, people, and making a visible impact. You’ll support some of Anacortes’s most beloved events—like Whale of a Sale, Earth Day, and Elves Night Out—while nurturing a team of dedicated volunteers and enhancing the beauty of our historic downtown.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate awesome volunteers and community partners
- Lead event planning, logistics, and follow-through
- Organize our gardening and beautification programs
- Build relationships that bring our mission to life
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Have experience leading volunteers or managing projects
- Are detail-savvy and love organizing events
- Enjoy connecting with people and building community
- Want flexible, meaningful part-time work that makes a difference
Bonus points for:
- Nonprofit or small business experience
- Familiarity with Anacortes or the Main Street approach
- Comfort with tools like CRMs or QuickBooks
Pay: $25–$30/hour depending on experience
Hours: Flexible, approx. 20 hrs/week (potential for more)
Location: Downtown Anacortes (plus some remote flexibility)
