Post Office Community Garden
The Post Office Community Garden is a tucked-away downtown space filled with lush greenery and seasonal blooms, creating a peaceful spot for neighbors to connect.
Downtown Planter Project
The Downtown Anacortes Planter Project, originally started in 2002 by a dedicated group of volunteers, has blossomed into a long-running community initiative that brightens downtown sidewalks with seasonal plantings, supported by local donations and now the Downtown Anacortes Alliance.
Hanging Baskets
Starting in Spring 2025, the Downtown Anacortes Alliance will partner with the Parks Department and Channel View Farms to run the long-running Hanging Basket Program, enhancing downtown’s beauty with vibrant flower baskets along Commercial Avenue, fostering community pride, and supporting local businesses.
