🎨 Tulip Poster Artists at Scott Milo Gallery
The gallery presents our 10th Annual Tulip Poster Artists, Past and Present show featuring art from five regional Skagit Valley Tulip Festival poster artists. Kylie Fair Anderson is the 2026 featured artist and she brings a collection of regional oil paintings. Also showing are: Jennifer Bowman – Acrylics (2004 & 2020); Gary Brown – Photographs (2024); Alfred Currier – Oils (1998) and Sandy Haight – Watercolors (2016). Each artist has created new work especially for our show. We have a new collection of jewelry, glass, sculptures and custom tables also.

Anacortes Earth Day – Last weekend in April
A joyful community celebration of our natural environment from the forest to the sea. Come down to Commercial Avenue to enjoy art, music, and street activities as we renew our commitment to protect the web of life. Highlights include the Luminary Light Parade, the Procession of the Species, a sustainable fashion show, and family-friendly interactive activities from local environmental groups.
Join us for a giant sidewalk sale in the heart of downtown Anacortes on this early summer day. Run into people you know strolling the streets–it’s almost guaranteed! Discover deals from more than 30 shops and restaurants. Look for whales wandering about, and enter a raffle to win orca themed prizes! It’s a festive day!

Elves Night Out – Saturday before Thanksgiving
Come downtown to join local businesses kicking off the holiday season with a fun, free, celebration of all things merry and bright. Start at the Majestic Inn ballroom and score nibbles and an epic gift bag. Then venture out to visit shops decorated for our holiday cheer contest, find special prices on gifts, and enjoy seasonal cocktails. Shop local first!

Anacortes Trick-or-Treat
Head downtown this Halloween for a fun, family-friendly celebration! On October 31 from 4–6 PM, local businesses along Commercial Avenue (between 10th and 3rd) will be handing out treats to kids of all ages. Stroll the heart of Anacortes, show off your costumes, and enjoy a safe and festive way to celebrate Halloween with the community.
